Good posture = Higher productivity

What’s the relationship between posture and productivity?

We know that standing desks are good for the body and help burn more calories as well as fight obesity.

Now new research from Texas A&M Health Science Centre School of Public Health suggests that standing results in boosted productivity. That’s great news, but it doesn’t happen overnight it takes at least month so see the difference in your team.

Overall nearly 75% of the sit and standing staff experienced less body pain and discomforts after six months, and that’s some great news for your staff.

Turn this around and ask what does bad posture do to a body?

We all know the three o’clock slump with the dreaded sugar craving, endless breaks to the coffee machine to stay awake, energy levels and productivity will most likely be going down. Sitting all day has some serious impact on your body without us realising it.

After longer periods of sitting your blood flow slows, your muscles are less engaged and the biggest worry is the effects on your internal organs. The list goes on…

Ensuring that you offer your staff a healthy office space will not only increase their own health but is likely to boost productivity and staff motivation. Giving them the option of sitting and standing throughout the day well may have some surprising effects on your team!

Stand up for your employees with VARIDESK and spread to the goodness from office to the heart.
